// Why us

Risk-free website design — you see it first, you pay afterwards

Commissioning a website is a matter of trust: you hand over a sum of money and find out weeks later what you got for it. We took that risk out of the process. We build the first version for free, you look at it — and you only pay if you like it. This page sets out exactly where we work differently from a traditional web agency or a template builder.

What that actually gets you

01 · Speed

A faster-loading site

Our sites are built from static HTML — no database queries, no dozen plugins slowing things down. Load speed doesn't just matter to visitors: Google treats it as a ranking factor, so a fast site places higher in results.

02 · Security

Nothing to break into

The overwhelming majority of attacks on WordPress sites target the admin panel and outdated plugins. On a static site those simply don't exist — no login screen, no constant pressure to update, no alerts in the middle of the night.

03 · Cost

Predictable, transparent pricing

A one-off build fee and a fixed monthly fee — that's it. The monthly fee includes hosting, maintenance and smaller edits, so no unexpected invoice arrives when something on the site needs updating.

04 · Leads

The site exists to get you contacted

We don't build decoration, we build a sales tool: a considered structure, a clear call to action, a contact form, basic SEO. Mobile isn't an extra, it's standard — most of your customers search from a phone.

05 · Flexibility

You're not locked in

The domain goes in your name and the monthly fee can be cancelled at any time. Clients stay with us because they're happy — not because a contract holds them there.

06 · Directness

You talk to the developer, not a system

If you need a change, you send an email or call — and you're speaking to the person who actually works on your site. No tickets, no queue, no request misread at the end of a chain.

WordPress or a static site — why we chose this route

WordPress is a great tool if you publish articles daily, or want to edit the site yourself from an admin panel. Most small businesses don't need that, though: they need a presentation site that loads fast, looks good on a phone and brings in enquiries. For that, WordPress is unnecessarily heavy — it drags along a database, plugins, constant updates and security maintenance, all of which you ultimately pay for.

So we build static sites instead: the same look and functionality, at a fraction of the load time and maintenance burden. And you don't have to make content changes yourself in an admin panel — you just tell us, and we do it, as part of the monthly fee.

Frequently asked questions

How is Netlift different from a traditional web agency?

Most agencies ask for a deposit before you see anything. We reverse the order: first we build the first version of your website for free, and you only pay if you like it. On top of that there is no long-term contract, you deal directly with the developer, and we work to a fixed price quoted up front.

Why is a static site better than WordPress?

A static HTML site loads faster because there are no database queries and no dozen plugins. There is no admin panel to break into and no constant updating — less maintenance, fewer things to go wrong, and better Google rankings thanks to the speed.

What exactly is the guarantee?

If the first version doesn't win you over, you pay nothing. We ask for no deposit and no card details — the risk sits entirely on our side.

Will my site look templated?

No. Every site is designed individually around your business, your industry and your customers — we don't work from theme templates. That's exactly why we build the first version first: so you can see it really was made for you.

How locked in am I if we sign?

Not at all. There is no long-term commitment: the monthly hosting and maintenance can be cancelled at any time, and the domain is registered in your name, so it always stays yours.

Who do I deal with during the project?

Directly with the developer building your site — by email or phone. No chain of project managers, no slow ticketing system, which is why revisions get done faster too.
