Founded in 2013 in Rotterdam, Atelier Nordr grew from a two-person practice into a studio working across Europe, Asia, and the Americas — without losing its quiet, considered hand.
Elin Markvardsen
Trained in Copenhagen and Tokyo, Elin founded the studio with a single conviction: that good architecture is felt before it is understood. Her work has been recognised by the Mies van der Rohe nominations and published across Europe and Asia.
She leads each project's concept phase personally, and believes the best brief is a long, honest conversation.
